Some pole sessions are about learning something new.
Others are about allowing what you already know to move more freely.
La Yugular – Pole Flow is a grounded, expressive choreography inspired by the music of Rosalía. It invites you into a slower, more intentional way of moving, where floorwork, soft spins, and transitions are woven together into one continuous experience.
This is a class where nothing needs to be rushed. The power comes from staying present, letting momentum do the work, and trusting simple movement to feel rich and complete.
Beginning Close to the Floor
The choreography opens seated, bringing you immediately into contact with the floor and the rhythm of the music. From there, the class builds gradually. Elements are introduced one at a time, then connected into a longer flow that travels naturally between levels.
The pole is set to static mode, creating a sense of steadiness throughout the session. This allows you to focus on how the movement feels rather than how fast it happens. Socks or toe socks can be helpful for smoother floor transitions, and knee pads are optional if you prefer extra comfort when working close to the ground.
Everything is taught from a back view, making it easy to follow while still leaving space for personal interpretation.
Where Simplicity Becomes Expressive
The movements in La Yugular are intentionally simple. There are no sharp accents or dramatic tricks competing for attention. Instead, the class asks you to stay with the transitions, to notice how one movement melts into the next, and to let the music guide your timing.
This is where the choreography opens up. Once the structure is familiar, you’re encouraged to soften the edges, adjust the pace, and allow your own expression to emerge. The same flow can feel entirely different depending on your energy, your mood, or the way you choose to breathe through it.
A Class Meant to Be Revisited
La Yugular – Pole Flow is not designed to be checked off and forgotten. It’s a session you can return to again and again, discovering new details each time. One day it may feel grounding and steady. Another day it may feel sensual and expansive.
This is the kind of class that reflects the core of Pole Body Soul. Movement as connection. Technique in service of feeling. Space to explore rather than perform.
An Invitation, Not a Performance
If you’re curious about Pole Body Soul, La Yugular is a beautiful place to begin. It offers a clear structure without pressure, and a sense of freedom without chaos.
You don’t need to dance it perfectly.
You only need to let yourself stay with it.
When you’re ready, the flow will meet you where you are.
